Horse hoof boots work only as well as they fit. The faster the gait a horse is ridden, or driven, the better the boots must fit. To help us make Hoofwings the best fitting hoof boots, our customers provide us with outlines, measurements and photos of their horses hooves. We use the outlines to determine which Hoofwing base will provide the best fit for their horses hooves. We use the measurements to custom make each wing. If none of the standard size bases fits your horse, you can order a custom made base. Currently, there are thirty-four different size bases. Nineteen are draft horse sizes. Six of those are shaped for hind hooves. Hoofwings are handmade.
Hoofwing horse boots reduce the pain from laminitis. Their smooth firm interior helps the horse walk. Walking increases blood circulation that is necessary for healing.
