Disclaimer

If your Hoofwings do not fit contact us as soon as possible.  Together we can find a solution.  We may ask that you redraw the outlines and re-measure to compare the new information with the original.  If the outlines or measurements have changed then we may recommend a different size or suggest shims.  Alternatively, mail the Hoofwings back.  We will sell them and refund the amount they sell for to you.

How long do they last?

The short answer is we are not able to predict how long your boots will last.  A longer answer is that horses used on pavement or other abrasive terrain will wear their boots out faster.  The weight of the horse and rider will affect the rate of wear.  The way a horse moves will affect how the boots wear.

Hoofwings are affordable and can be repaired and resurfaced.

How much do they cost?

Prices for Hoofwings are on the Hoofwings page of this web site.  Scroll down the page a little to see the prices.

When do I use my Hoofwings?

When you ride or drive on pavement; when your horse is ouchy; when your horses hooves wear down faster than they grow; when you ride or drive on rocky ground; when you ride or drive on the side of a road. (The sides of roads are notorious for concealing items that dangerous to horses hooves).

Hoofwings can remain on the horse's hooves 24/7 without causing the hooves to become soft.

When is the best time to draw the outlines?

You can draw the outlines of your horses hooves when it is convenient for you.  Just tell us when your horse's hooves were trimmed and when you drew the outlines.

Near the top of the How To Order page of this web site is the line: When you are ready to order click here to print the order form.  This form needs to be faxed with all orders.
